ΠΕΓΠ question bank
The Greek citizenship question bank
Every thematic question in the Greek naturalisation test comes from a public question bank. Here is what the November 2026 edition contains and how to study it.
What the question bank contains
| Section | In the bank | In the exam |
|---|---|---|
| Geography | 70 questions | 4 questions |
| Culture | 70 questions | 4 questions |
| History | 80 questions | 6 questions |
| Political institutions | 80 questions | 6 questions |
| Reading and writing | 100 tasks | 1 task |
| Listening | 50 tasks with audio | 2 texts, 10 questions |
| Speaking | 25 tasks with pictures | 1 task |
The thematic questions are published with their answers. On exam day they are drawn electronically from this public bank, so if you have studied the whole bank no thematic question will be new to you. The bank and the exam are in Greek only.
Which edition applies
The General Secretariat for Citizenship updates the bank before each exam session. For the 15 November 2026 exam some files were updated (for example Geography on 30 September 2026 and Listening on 13 October 2026). Always study the latest edition from the official website.
There are also special editions for candidates with learning difficulties and for candidates examined orally because of their age. Check the official website to see whether they apply to you.
How to study the bank
- Start with History and Institutions: each gives 6 questions in the exam.
- Answer every question once and keep the ones you got wrong.
- Repeat only your mistakes until you get each right twice in a row.
- Take full mock exams with the 70/100, 40/60 Greek, 20/40 thematic rule.
Greek Citizen has every question of the November 2026 edition with mistake review and mock exams, with English help next to the Greek. See also sample questions, the exam format and how to prepare.
